b.Learner’s Health and Safety
The nutritional status of pupils plays a great role in their learning abilities. The elementary level is a recipient of the school based feeding program for 28 severely wasted pupils. compared to 67 recipient last year.
The condition may be attributed to the poor financial income of the parents of the students who were not able to supply the right amount of nutritional food to their children. Other than this, it is also considered that ages of the pupils do not conform to their current grade level. Moreover, sleeping habits and proper food intake are not being properly observed at home. Hence, parents and pupils also must do their part in addressing the poor nutritional status of the pupils aside from the School-Based Feeding Program funded by the National Government and the parents being practiced weekly by grade levels.
Learner’s Materials
Textbooks in English, Math, HEKASI and Filipino are adequate in number from Grade 1 to Grade 5 except for Grade 6. However, in some sections Grades 1 and 6 were already utilizing the ICT and advance technology in their respective classroom.. In similar cases, Science textbooks in the higher level particularly in Grade 6 have only 0-10% textbooks but it has quite number of laboratory equipment .Thus,in general the textbook-pupil ratio is 1:2 ,which is below the planning standard.
c.Teacher’s Professional Development
There are 17 elementary teachers, and one principal manning the school. Out of 17 , 1 is a Master Teacher .Each teacher is given opportunity to level up/ enhance their teaching potentials during in service training for Teachers (IN-SET) which is given twice in a school year. The K-12 curriculum is the basic training given to teachers and followed by computer literacy which is needed in their daily undertakings as teachers. Other concerned maybe tackled during LAC.
As of sy 2019-2020 ,there were 3 teachers enrolled in Masters Degree compare to 0 last year. There were 2 Teachers graduated in Masters Degree. one of them proceed to doctoral and promoted as Teacher In-Charge.
The School MOOE provided fund allocation for the Teachers who undergo trainings and seminars as required by DepEd memorandum.LAC session will regularly conducted every last friday of the Month. There were 7 out of 17 teachers needs to enhance their computer literacy.

The Drop-out Rate since SY 2016-2019 was increasing (from 1 in sy 2016-17 to 6 in sy 2018-19) and it was below the planning standard.
However the number of failures were decreasing from 13 in sy 2016-17 to 8 learners in sy 2018-19.
e.Promotion Rate
The data shows that promotion rate is decreasing due to the increased number of drop-outs and failures. This data is below the planning standard.
f.Learner’s Quality of Education
The data shows that year 2016-2017 got the higher MPS compared to year 2017-18 in all five subjects (English, Math, Science, Filipino and HEKASI. Results of 2018-19 was not yet being shown in the graph since Grade 6 were no longer took the test. The decrease of Mean Percentage of Score of the NAT in year 2018 may be attributed to the lack of NAT review, poor nutrition and poor teaching strategies of the teacher.
g.Literacy and Numeracy
Based on the Phil-IRI results , out of 557 503 pupils only 173 passed the Group Screening Test in the latest Phil IRI reading evaluation. Only 79.17% of those who took the test passed in both English and Filipino While based on EGMAT results ,107 out of 256 Grades 1 to 3 learners were Non-Numeric.It is below the planning standard.
The number of learners with different ability may affect the reading performance of the pupils hence problems arises especially in words recognition, comprehension and spelling. while the delayed developmental skills basic math concepts were found. while Poor parents’ support and involvement in guiding their children towards reading was also the key factor contributory to these results. But based on the SMEA results it was indeed because of the teachers’ non practice in differentiated instruction during their teaching learning process.
h.Physical Facilities
The school facilities are just enough for the population of the school. The LGU and RAFI cooperate to help cope up with classroom needs. As of today, the school has 4 buildings with 12 classrooms ready to use. Out of this classrooms, 8 were already repaired by the DepEd. There were Two 2-Storey 4CL building coming from RAFI and DEpEd. The engineers were already conducted soil testing.
Its current Classroom-Pupil ratio is 1:36,which is within the planning standard. But the school lacks of ICT room and functional school library. Books were available in the offices of the principal, and some in each classroom. and landscaping maybe developed to add beauty to the school environment ,thus inspire learners to come to school everyday.
To provide a satisfactory learning environment and outcome, physical/classroom facilities/equipment such as chairs are continuously responded through the utilization of the school MOOE. Thus, having enough number of chairs and a school library will further enhance learning atmosphere. MES believes that providing comfort and convenience to pupils and students will help them improve their academic performance and consequently will augment /affect the school’s performance. Facilitating possible solutions to this problem through addressing it to proper channels like asking support from LGU and NGO.
With all the enumerated developmental needs of the school with its desired time frame for each particular project and through planned activities and programs, everything will be addressed through careful planning, proper implementation and constant monitoring
